Second-year law students Chan Wenqiang, Darren Chye, Liu Xuanyi, Mohammad Muzhaffar bin Omar, Tan Kehua, Jerald Soon, and Jillian Yeo represented SMU in the 2013 Attorney-General's Cup. There were two main moot problems this year, the first concerning whether it is possible to be guilty of bigamy when an overseas civil partnership has been entered into, and the second concerning whether it is possible to be guilty of causing religious disharmony in Singapore by blogging about extreme proselytisation from abroad. Xuanyi and Muzhaffar won both the individual titles at stake by winning the individual champion and best memorial awards respectively. NUS won on overall points (11 to 8).
